Board of Supervisors Minutes

February 22, 2010

The Tama County Board of Supervisors met at 9:30 a.m., February 22,
2010. Present: 1st District Supervisor, Larry Vest; 2nd District
Supervisor, Kendall Jordan and 3rd District Supervisor, Dan Wilkens.

Motion by Jordan, seconded by Wilkens to approve the minutes of the
February 16th, 2010, regular meeting. All voted aye. Motion carried.

The Board met with Lyle Brehm, Tama County Engineer to get a road
projects report.

The Board approved a partial payment request from Region 6 Planning
Commission for the Home Ownership Grant Program for a home in Gladbrook
to Troy Construction.

Dirk Henle, Maintenance, presented bids for shower repairs at the jail
and county home. Motion by Jordan, seconded by Vest to accept the bids
for the shower repairs. All voted aye. Motion carried.

There was discussion about suggested changes to the Tama County
Handbook. There will be further discussion regarding this in the
future. No action taken.

Motion by Vest, seconded by Jordan to approve the claims for payment as
presented. All voted aye. Motion carried.

Chairman Wilkens adjourned the meeting at 10:00 a.m.
