Meeting
September 6, 2007
Tama County MH/DD Advisory
meeting was held at the Tama County CPC Building Toledo, Iowa on September 6,
2007 at 7:00pm.
PRESENT WERE: Jim Dinsdale, Gary Mattson,
Larry Vest, Mary Cibula, Kim Carter, Todd Rickert and Tammy Wise.
CALL TO ORDER:
President
Gary Mattson called the meeting to order at 7:15 pm
MINUTES: Jim Dinsdale made a motion
and Mary Cibula seconded the motion to approve Feb. 1, 2007 minutes. Larry Vest made a motion and Mary Cibula
seconded the motion to approve the May 24, 2007 minutes.
Agenda
Items(s):
Member term: Stan Upah served his term
and will not be continuing on with the Board.
Review Budget
Adjustments: Iowa Valley’s new rate for
the CDC was discussed.
The new rate would include utility costs not
previously allocated for.
Budget: Updated information was
shared for the MH/DD fund balance at years end.
Goal updates: Goal #2- Tama
County will work to decrease the number of Mental Health Committals by June 30,
2009. Inservice
for law enforcement would like to be offered.
This may assist in meeting the goal.
Projected 2008
Cost Report: Cost report was
submitted and accepted by IME. Our new
rate is $274.19 per unit.
Referrals: At this time we have approximately 4-5 new referrals.
PIP: Goal #1- Tama
Case Management would like to ensure that quality of Case Management services
are being provided by the agency and client files are current and have required
documentation in them. Monthly we are asking certain providers to share
their documentation of notes for billing purposes. This is and ongoing goal.
NON AGENDA ITEMS:
NEW MEMBERS: We will be contacting the school and AEA for
referrals.
